Hello everyone, am really glad to be here and hope to meet new people. My name is Joseph baleni, i was born in September 1966 in a small Zambian town called Livingstone, which is its tourist capital and is situated in the southern part of the country bordering Zimbabwe and sharing one of the great wonders of the world, the Victoria Falls.

I come from a family of five but we are now four as we lost our eldest brother to heart failure when he was only 24 in 1984. I have an elder sister who also lives in England and a yonger brother and sister, both of whom are living in South Africa. Both my parents are still alive and are currently still living in Bulawayo,Zimbabwe, which is my home town. I am married but we have no children between us though i have a son who just turned 20 on May 3 from a prvious relationship and she also has two sons from her previous relationship who are aged 24 and 27. I have not seen my son since i moved to England and although i speak to him as often as possible, that pain of not having been there for him through his teens just lingers and it is only by the grace of God that i have not succumbed to it.

 I moved to Zimbabwe in 1981 which is where my parents originate, completed school in 1982 then trained as a Lithographer. I worked as a Lithographic Printer in Zimbabwe and South Africa, where i lived for three years from 1997-2000 then moved to England where i've been since. 

I find it very edifying to share the Lords Words with people from different walks of life. I am still a baby in as far as walking with Christ is concerned and i still go through so many turbulent times in my life but still very thankful for what i have learnt so far about Godly living and will always do my best with the Lords help of course, to apply it to my daily life. I have learnt that we must never take one another for granted and that a little something said by someone may go a long way in helping, encoraging, inspiring another, etc.. I have also learnt that we learn more about ourselves when going through hard times than in good times and that we must always thank God for whatever situation we are in, good or bad because thats probably where He wants us to be at that particular moment and that good will most likely come out of it. I mention this mainly because i suffer from COPD, a terminal lung disorder, for the benefit of those who do not know, and that, as you can see from my photo, i am on supplementary oxygen 24/7 since 2005. I am quite stable at the moment but have been in and out of hospital in the past year (2008) but all this has not put a damper on my life. Instead, i have grown more positive, the Lord has openned my eyes to so much that i used to take for granted of, i dont miss out no what goes on out there even as i spend 99% of my time up in my room....I am just thankful to be alive and all the glory goes to the Lord who is truely deserving of it. Am a computer enthusiast who dabbles quite a lot and i have managed to teach myself quite a bit, besides, i have plenty of time on my hands and always willing to pick up tips here and there. God Bless you all!
