Hi my name is Lisa and I enjoy taking walks and meeting new people. I am one presently not working right now. I have a degree in business administration that I received at Penn State. i have one daughter name Meghan who is in middle school and just turned thirteen, She loves school and just made the high honor roll this past nine weeks. Right now we are filing bankruptcy but the Lord has taught me how to really save and has been meeting all our needs. I have been praying for a job and that is all I want for Christmas but I know the Lord will open the door when the time is right. My favorite books of course are the Bible I like the women of the bible Esther, Ruth, Mary Madelgelne, and Basheba. I also like Gone with the wind, A Night with the King by Tom Tenney, Cather in the Rye by Tom Salinger, A Tale Of Two Cities.
My favorite music is Journey, Heart, Pat Benatar, Stevie Nicks, Phil Collins, Donna Summers, and Blonde I could go on forever in the music department.
I also am one to speak my mind and ask questions you will not move forward in this world if you don't ask questions. I have taught my daughter that you will always ask questions until the day you breathe your last breath. I explained to her that even as adults we must seek and ask questions in order to do something right or you will make a mistake. I always explain it is better to ask questions and get the right answer then make a mistake and have to do the step all over again. I guess from this you can tell I can babble quite a bit but I do enjoy a good conversation. The Lord has given a good sense of Humor and that has gotten me through a lot of things. I am a positive person and always take a negative situation and turn it into a positive one. There is always light at the end of the tunnel. Hope to hear from some new Christian Sisters and Brothers.
I need to update this Everyone. I just wanted to let you know there has been some blessings in my life and some bad news. The bad news is that my husband and I have parted and filed for divorce and have been now divorced for the last six months and Meghan and I are doing well. The blessed news is that I have found a job as office manager for a tool and dye shop with a Christian Company.
I have already gone to the 341 meeting in the bankruptcy proceedings so the debts will be charged off by June and then I will be able to move and start fresh. I just ask that you keep Meghan and I in your prayers as we are off to a fresh start.

Lisa, thanks for the add and thanks for the honesty in your bio. im glad the Lord has calmed your heart and brought you peace and the right time for things to come with a job. i heard once that when things are aligning between heaven and earth, sometimes it might seem like they are taking a while. that has always stuck with me. when i think ive waiting so long for something i just think that it must really be taking a while for God to get things aligned with whats going on here. and the best thing that we can do is to wait. when we rush them and interject our flesh in situation it tends to just mess things up- because anything that isnt Gods plan isnt the best thing for us at all.
anyhow. i dont know if my music falls under your musical ear category but take a look and see what you think. also- there is a video on the home page of my website that changed my view of my time of earth as a Christian. you should watch it. its long, but entertaining and eye opening all at the same time. its called the bema judgement.

Just to say thanks for accepting the "friends" add and comment. Just that your written profile was really interesting/good, like about asking questions, "babbling", and a couple ian & teresa that I know here who had a christian bookshop/business got bankrupt (they ended up having to shift away), and I know must be hard/not very nice for you & daughter about the divorce (may He (G-d/JC) really help you). Also nice how you post the pictures (though I know we have to be careful) - I had seen awhile ago that the nonchristian spiritual people like spiritrescue and pagans/traditionalists have pictures that tend to appeal and I had wondered if/why-not christians have nice pics etc. Grace, Sean.
