First things first;locate God's will for your life.

   Isaiah 3;10;SAY YE TO THE RIGHTEOUS,IT SHALL BE WELL WITH HIM AND HE SHALL EAT THE FRUIT OF HIS DOINGS. have u ever asked yourself,which doings? it must be that which God has purposed for you to do.it must be in line with God's will.God's will is not just the Word we read from the Bible,we have to discover His will for our lives and that is knowing and understanding what He has called us to do.And this is where we have to depend on the Spirit of God,who reveals all things.Because everyone is called by God to fulfill a particular purpose.No matter how long we pray concerning anything such as a job,if it is not God's will,He rejects everything we request because, our prayers and His ways,will and desires for us do not line up.Myles Munroe rightly said,'ignorance affects how God answers our prayers because we ask for things we don't need or shouldn't want'.You don't ask God for something and help Him to do it by ways of looking for alternatives and practically begging people to help you.Faith is asking from God according to His word and His will,working the work of faith,and then expecting Him to do it,giving thanks in all things. Definitely,we can be searching for a job with all our heart and might(not knowing His will) and get one,but is that God's purpose for us? this is why we don't find satisfaction in some jobs we do and thus leads to incompetence and then depression and poverty.Whatever we are going through in life,getting to know God's will is basic before crying to Him in prayers.How do we do this? studying His Word always, steady communion and continually being in tune with the Holy Spirit.Living righteously,and above all having FAITH in GOD.
