What is Church at home?

I would like to extend a warm welcome to all people reading this may the Lord Jesus Christ bless you and send his ministering angels to watch over you as you go about this life he has given you.

The purpose of this space is to lift up and glorify the name of Jesus Christ, to share the love and the gospel to a sad and dying world.  It promotes his online church “Church at home” this concept was formed to help people that struggle through sickness, disability, or have had bad experiences with the church that stops them from getting to live church services. 

We are non denominational and have from around the world, people that attend Church at home service that do go to and take active roles in Sunday Churches.  Church at home is a bible based Church and preaches the gospel as it is, you will not find sermons here to the likening of all, but we teach it the way it was taught by the early church hard hitting to the point and at times confrontational.

We believe that there is no place for a watered down soft gospel to keep people happy the truth as much as it can hurt at times is given here. What does 2009 have in store for Church at home?
 
As I sit at my desk writing this, amazed at what God has done at Church at Home in the past 21 months, we were 9 months old when I sat this time last year and wrote what has become an all to familiar site on our weekly blog telling newbie’s to the blog what we are all about, as you read this we will start the new year being 22 months old and where 2008 laid the foundations for a challenging, fresh outlook for Church at home for 2009 I believe we will continue to see, lives changed, people set free, a greater understanding of God’s Bible given, my friend as I have said for some time now 2009 is the year that Church at Home members will take what from Satan what Satan had no right to take in the first place,

·         Our Wealth

·         Our Health

·         Our Rights

·         Our Authority

We need to remember this, for "who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct Him?" But we have the mind of Christ.” (1 Corinthians 2:16) we have the mind of Christ praise the Lord and then we need to be “casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ” (2 Corinthians 10:5) How may time do I say “Satan wins your mind he wins you?” My friends  take comfort knowing this “Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” Luke 10:19. Nothing shall by any means hurt you, do you believe this so we can go and take back what Satan has taken from us I have no doubt over this, why because Revelation 12:11 says “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.” How did they over come Satan and his cohorts, by the Blood of the Lamb and the Word of their testimony, and they died of the flesh and followed the will of God for their lives. Saints this is why I know we have the victory and why we will take back our wealth, health, rights and authority.

2009 will take Church at Home to a minimum of three countries, will allow us to video tape our messages and place them on the world wide net for a greater number of people to see, will see the use of spiritual gift to be developed and used within the Church.

I believe that we as a Church are being called to focus on these areas for 2009 they are

To seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all else with be given until you Matthew 6:33.

To test by the spirit of God all Teaches, Preachers, Pastors to make sure they are using the word of God. 1 John 4:1-3, 1 Thessalonians 5:21.

To understand that we have the mind of Christ therefore take captive any thought that doesn’t line up to the mind of Christ. 2 Corinthians 10:5

To use the God given authority we have to take control of our lives and not give Satan & his cohorts a foot hold to come and destroy us. Luke 10:19.

o be consistently filled with the Holy Spirit. John 7:37-38

We long to experience a deeper manifestation of your presence as we draw closer to you like never before.  James 4:8

To worship in spirit and truth. John 4:23

Showing the love of Jesus Christ to a lost and hurting world. 1 Corinthians 13

To follow the calling of the Great Commission by building on the foundations set in 2008. Matthew 28:19-20

Be still and know I am God Psalms 46:10

2008 was exciting, but hold your horses 2009  will be mind blowing so fasten your seat belts, and we pray you can be part of it all for his glory

Church at home is an internet Church ministry the loves to Glorify the name of Jesus, that runs four  live services weekly, two bible studies weekly, a prayer room, a women’s room, and a room called Christianity is real I can prove it with is where peoples beliefs are challenged we also offer deliverance ministry to those that need it.

It would be a blessing to have you at any one of our four services, or two bible studies, ( Church at Home Bible Study) our prayer room, (Church at Home Prayer Room) a woman’s room called (Spirit Filled Woman of Church at Home) or the room Christianity is Real I Can Prove It?

Our Church services are life and run as Church services from the comfort of your own home there are run from a chat programme called paltalk in a room called “Church at home” under the spirituality and religion section of chat rooms paltalk can be downloaded for free from www.paltalk.com  or you can down load it from our website http://churchathome-au.com  under the section called contact us 

The four live services times are 1pm Adelaide time Saturdays and 7am Adelaide time Monday mornings and replayed at 10.15pm Saturday and 8pm Mondays, so if you would like to receive a touch from God being there is a must. 

Please note if you come from the Northern hemisphere we can be several hours ahead of some places, which mean in the states and Canada it the live services are Friday evenings and our Saturday evening live service can be early mornings in the States and Canada, 7am Monday services can be Sunday evenings in the Northern Hemisphere, with Monday nights being early mornings in the Northern hemisphere if you would like to know more or be part of it let us know we can add you nic and invite you to the room when services are running.

Pride Verses Humanity

Now having made that commitment to God in pray allow Him to show you any specific ways you have lived in proud manner. The following list may help you. As the Lord brings to mind areas of pride, use the prayer following the list to guide you into confession.

• Have a strong desire to do my will than God’s will.
• Leaning to much on my own understanding and experience rather than seeking God’s guidance through prayer and His word.
• Relying on my owns strengths and abilities instead of depending on the power of the Holy Spirit.
• Being more concerned about controlling others than in developing self control.
• Being too busy doing important things to take the time to do little things for others.
• Having a tendency to think I have no needs.
• Finding it hard to admit when I am wrong.
• Being more concerned about pleasing people than pleasing God.
• Being concerned about getting the credit I feel I deserve.
• Thinking that I am more humble, spiritual, religious or devoted than others.
• Being driven to obtain recognition by obtaining degrees, titles, or positions.
• Often feel my needs are more important than the needs of others.
• Considering myself better than others because of my academic, artistic, or athletic abilities and accomplishments.
• Other ways I have thought more highly of myself than I should.

For each of the areas that have been true in my life pray aloud:

Lord  I agree I have been proud in the...........................................................(name the area) Thank you for forgiving me for my pride. I choose to humble myself before You and others. I choose to place all my confidence in You and none in my flesh. In Jesus name I pray Amen.

Pride

The life and death of Jesus Christ is a standing rebuke to every form of pride of which men, women, and children are capable.

·         Pride of birth and rank: “Is this not a carpenters Son?” Matthew 13:55

·         Pride of wealth: “The Son of man has no where to lay His head” Matthew 8:20

·         Pride of personal appearance: “There is no beauty that we should desire Him” Isaiah 53:3

·         Pride of reputation: “A friend of publicans and sinners” Matthew 11:19

·         Pride of learning: “How does this man know letters, having never studied” John 7:15

·         Pride of Superiority: “I am among you as he that serves” Luke 22:27

·         Pride of success: “He was despised and rejected of men” Isaiah 53:3

·         Pride of ability: “I can of my own self do nothing” John 5:30

·         Pride of intellect: “As my Father has taught me, I speak these things” John 8:28

·         Pride of self-will: “I seek not my own will, but the will of the Father who has sent me” John 5:30

·         Pride in death: “He become obedient to death even death on a cross” Philippians 2:8

             Dealing with Prejudice and Bigotry.

Prejudice and bigotry are other forms of pride and ones that are all too common. Our first reaction may be to deny that these attitudes are not true in us. But any awareness of prideful attitudes towards others would be a good cause to prayerfully allow God to search your heart and bring to the surface anything that needs to be dealt with.

Twenty Cans of Success

 Why should I feel condemned when the Bible says there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus ( Romans 8:1)

13.   Why should I feel alone when Jesus said he is with me always and he will never leave me nor forsake me (Matthew 28:20, Hebrews 13:5)

14.   Why would I feel as if I’m cursed or have bad luck when the bible says that Christ rescued me from the curse of the law that I might receive his spirit by faith (Galatians 3:13-14)
